The client, a major health and wellbeing provider for a population of 1.8 million people across Lancashire and South Cumbria, is seeking a Director of Integrated Governance. This newly established role will report to the Deputy Chief Executive/Chief Medical Officer and work closely with the Executive Team to lead the integrated governance agenda. The Director of Integrated Governance will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and regulatory clinical compliance across a wide range of essential services. This includes overseeing patient safety, complaints, legal services, CQC compliance, clinical audit, and evidence-based practice.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all clinical governance functions, championing a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and improvement. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders across the health and care system, serving as a lead interface with regulators, system partners, and external agencies. The Director of Integrated Governance will play a key role in shaping policy, embedding a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
