The client is seeking a Director of Integrated Fundraising & Marketing, a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening brand presence, and improving integrated marketing performance. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position will lead and evolve a multi-channel fundraising program spanning direct mail, direct response television, digital channels, outbound telemarketing, public relations, and mid-level donor integration across channels. The role provides strategic direction and hands-on oversight of execution, analytics, vendor relationships, and team leadership, with direct influence on revenue targets and organizational growth.
The Director will manage a team that includes an Integrated Fundraising Manager, a Marketing Specialist, and a Full Stack Developer, and will collaborate closely with senior leadership across philanthropy and finance, as well as global peers. Responsibilities include developing and executing integrated, multi-channel fundraising strategies; leading annual planning and providing regular channel performance reporting; conducting market research and testing to improve acquisition and retention; managing agency and vendor partnerships; and maintaining expertise in Canadian non-profit trends and direct response best practices. Donor engagement work includes prospect management, CRM strategy oversight, ensuring consistent and meaningful donor experiences, and supporting rapid-response campaigns for emergency response.
Marketing and brand responsibilities include defining and elevating brand positioning, leading content and communications strategy across platforms, overseeing agency marketing campaigns and brand execution across channels, and ensuring brand consistency and compelling storytelling. Strategic leadership includes aligning fundraising and marketing strategy to the client’s strategic plan, establishing and managing fundraising revenue targets, developing and managing the department budget, and setting benchmarks and KPIs to guide continuous improvement. The Director is expected to provide regular progress updates and trend analysis to the Executive Director, mentor and develop a high-performing team, and maintain consistent reporting across tools and platforms while ensuring appropriate operations and compliance.
