The client is delivering rbt2 through a special-purpose subsidiary designed to support operational independence, nimble decision-making, and clear accountability.
The client seeks a director of infrastructure delivery to lead the infrastructure delivery function for the rbt2 program. reporting directly to the president of the rbt2 subsidiary, the director will translate approved infrastructure, procurement, and contracting strategies into coordinated execution across a large, multi-contract program. responsibilities include integrating multidisciplinary technical and commercial plans, managing critical interfaces among parallel contracts, and ensuring engineering solutions are constructable, commercially sound, and fully compliant with legal, environmental, regulatory, and permitting requirements.
the director will lead procurement, contracting, and commercial management strategies, including market outreach and negotiation of major contracts under collaborative procurement models such as alliance or progressive design-build. they will oversee consultant and contractor performance across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk, managing complex marine and land interfaces, and will implement disciplined reporting, proactive risk management, and transparent governance. qualifications include a minimum of 10 years of experience in managerial and senior leadership roles leading complex capital programs, with experience delivering projects at very large scale and exposure to mega-projects strongly preferred; they are expected to have strong technical expertise in heavy civil construction, deep commercial acumen in collaborative contract models, thorough knowledge of public procurement and contract administration including risk and dispute resolution, and proven people leadership with strong stakeholder engagement skills across government, industry, regulators, and indigenous communities.
