the client is seeking a Director, Information Technology for a direct hire role. In this position, you will support the development and execution of IT solutions across infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems, digital innovation, and data strategy. You will contribute to technology planning by guiding project and service delivery to business teams, partnering with key stakeholders to define a long-term IT strategy and solution portfolio, and aligning technology initiatives with enterprise priorities.
Your responsibilities include refining and executing the IT strategy and related investments aligned with business and growth objectives; identifying and implementing best practices to support future organizational needs; and acting as a business partner to cross-functional teams to deliver technology-driven opportunities that improve efficiency, innovation, and scalability. You will oversee IT audits, enterprise risk evaluations, and compliance discussions with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between IT strategy, business objectives, and operational capacity, while also managing the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable IT infrastructure.
You will ensure optimal performance and reliability of critical business systems, including ERP, CRM, and reporting tools; lead, mentor, and develop the IT team with a focus on continuous improvement; and maintain expert knowledge of business processes and industry trends to keep solutions aligned with evolving needs. You will maintain comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, manage vendor relationships and service agreements, and own the execution of the annual IT operating and capital budget. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and progressive IT experience with significant leadership experience; preferred capabilities include working knowledge of IT infrastructure and ERP/CRM systems, along with SQL skills and experience integrating systems via APIs and object-oriented programming, plus strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive, results-driven approach.
