Description

The client is seeking a Director of Industry Relations to manage supplier partners and the revenue streams associated with them. The role focuses on cultivating strategic partnerships that drive business growth and create value for both the client and its suppliers, including developing programs and strengthening ongoing partner relationships.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with preferred travel supplier partners, identifying and securing new supplier partnerships, and leading onboarding and integration. The director will develop and launch new supplier programs to communicate value and opportunities, collaborate with internal teams to support supplier events and program engagement, and conduct supplier business reviews to optimize program metrics while driving revenue and profit growth through strategic initiatives and negotiations. The director will also represent the client at industry events and conferences and lead and mentor a team of partner relations professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience managing supplier relationships in the travel industry and a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. The role requires strong negotiation skills with high-value commercial partnerships, excellent verbal and written communication, and an analytical, data-driven approach with strong business acumen. An entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are expected, with qualifications typically aligned with partner relations or supplier-side experience at a managerial or director level.
