The client is seeking a Director of ICT & Digital Transformation to lead the next phase of its digital journey and help shape organisational strategy through technology-enabled change. This newly enhanced leadership role will influence modernisation efforts, drive transformational programmes, and support the organisation in working smarter, improving decision-making, and maximising overall impact.
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer and sitting on the Senior Management Team, the Director will lead ICT, digital and data strategy and oversee IT operations and digital transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading organisation-wide digital transformation programmes; embedding and developing an implemented ERP platform; modernising technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, and data management; driving innovation and the effective and ethical use of AI; strengthening cyber security, resilience, and information governance; building digital capability and confidence across the organisation; and developing a high-performing ICT team and supplier network while ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business benefits. The Director will also contribute to wider organisational leadership and long-term strategic direction.
The successful candidate is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in ICT, digital, and transformation strategies within complex organisations. They should have a proven track record delivering large-scale technology and business change programmes, expertise implementing integrated enterprise systems, and experience with cloud technologies and information security. Additional strengths include supplier management, procurement, and technology governance, along with strategic thinking paired with hands-on delivery, the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for senior stakeholders, and exceptional leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills. Hybrid working is expected, with a minimum of two days per week in one of The client’s offices.
