Description

The client is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy and operations across North America. Reporting into the Chief People Officer, this highly visible leadership role partners with executive leadership to align people initiatives with business priorities, build scalable HR infrastructure, strengthen leadership capability, and drive a high-performing culture across a multi-site manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include shaping and delivering HR strategy with corporate and site leaders; leading HR operations across North America, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll, and HR systems; and ensuring compliance with applicable federal and regional employment laws. The role also drives performance management and talent review processes, supports succession planning for critical roles, oversees compensation and benefits programs with attention to pay equity aligned to global frameworks, identifies capability gaps in partnership with global teams, and supports leadership development and training.

Additional responsibilities include promoting employee engagement, inclusion, and a values-driven culture, and supporting organizational change through communication and adoption strategies that produce measurable results. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant human resources experience, including leading HR teams across multiple sites in a global environment; strong expertise in employee relations, talent management, compliance, and HR strategy; the ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change; and strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities, along with high integrity and discretion when handling sensitive matters.
