the client seeks an accomplished, mission-driven Director of Human Resources to lead people strategy and support a workplace culture aligned with the organization’s scholarly and community-focused mission. This role is expected to provide strategic partnership to senior leadership and help shape the employee and volunteer experience through effective HR programs, systems, and long-term organizational effectiveness.
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that promote an inclusive, positive work culture, support accountability, and advance best practices across the department. The role will typically require a thoughtful, data-informed approach to workforce management, talent development, and systems optimization, along with the ability to nurture a collaborative, engaged internal community.
In addition, the Director will build strong relationships with leaders, managers, and employees, influence adoption of new processes and procedures, and proactively identify and resolve sources of friction.
