The Director will oversee the strategic direction and artistic vision of our client, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of contemporary visual arts practice. They will work closely with the Artistic Director to develop a diverse and inclusive programme that reflects the cultural diversity of the community and engages with pressing social issues. The Director will be responsible for managing the budget, developing partnerships, and securing funding to support the gallery's activities and initiatives.In addition to curating exhibitions and events, the Director will play a key role in shaping the overall artistic direction of the Southbank Centre, collaborating with other departments to create a cohesive and dynamic cultural offering. They will be a passionate advocate for the arts, promoting the value of visual culture and its ability to inspire, challenge, and provoke thought.
