As Director of Streaming Product and Growth at the client, you will help shape the future of a major UK digital platform as it transitions to a digitally led, subscription-first business. You will take ownership of a high-profile streaming product, driving commercial growth, shaping the proposition, and influencing strategy at senior levels across the organization.
You will lead the commercial strategy for a subscription-based streaming product, with accountability for revenue growth and improved profit and loss performance. Key responsibilities include defining and delivering the commercial roadmap covering pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy; developing and optimizing subscription mechanics such as acquisition, retention, and churn reduction; and using data and customer insights to guide decision-making, segmentation, and performance optimization.
You will work with and coordinate cross-functional teams spanning product, marketing, analytics, finance, and editorial to execute growth plans and may also influence senior stakeholders up to the C-suite to align on strategy and delivery. The role is expected to involve identifying new market opportunities, partnerships, and product enhancements to support long-term growth; required qualifications include strong commercial leadership in digital or subscription-led environments, proven ownership of P&L outcomes, and deep understanding of subscription models, including pricing, churn management, and revenue forecasting.
