The client is seeking a Director of Global Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across a portfolio of apparel brands. This role oversees planning, production, logistics, and distribution while driving operational excellence, organizational effectiveness, and long-term supply chain strategy. The Director will help scale global operations, improve efficiency, develop talent, and ensure products are delivered on time and to required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include leading demand planning, supply planning, production, logistics, and distribution; developing and executing strategic initiatives to improve supply chain effectiveness; and driving process improvement, scalability, and performance optimization. The role also involves using data and analytics to guide decisions, establishing and monitoring performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve service levels, cost efficiency, inventory management, and overall operational effectiveness. The Director will ensure processes, systems, and teams are positioned to support future growth and increasing complexity, serving as a key member of the leadership team contributing to broader business strategy.
The Director will lead a large, cross-functional supply chain organization, including multiple people leaders and direct reports, and will build, develop, and mentor teams focused on service, efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include coaching, succession planning, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture that supports engagement and growth. The Director will partner with Product, Sourcing, Quality, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure successful product delivery and support quality initiatives, post-sales processes, and operational risk mitigation. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in apparel or a related area, demonstrated experience managing complex global supply chains, proven people leadership, strong analytical and business acumen, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Preferred qualifications may include an advanced degree and experience supporting multi-brand or multi-category product organizations and fast-growing, globally distributed consumer product businesses.
