Description

Join the client, a service-oriented organization with a large field-based workforce supporting commercial customers across multiple markets. In a decentralized, multi-business-unit environment, the role will help strengthen communication, partnership, and consistency across field leadership and key internal functions, including operations, finance, HR, legal, and external partners. The organization is focused on improving internal alignment, enhancing reporting capabilities, and creating more consistent processes as it scales and matures.

Build and lead the client’s FP&A function, overseeing and further developing the annual budgeting process and contributing to a multi-year strategic planning process in collaboration with senior finance and operational leaders. Help design and implement enterprise forecasting, including a monthly rolling 12-month forecast, and standardize KPIs across business units to improve visibility and support more real-time decision-making. Support board-level reporting, collaborate with data and analytics teams, and ensure consistency and accuracy across decentralized operations while driving a higher level of financial rigor.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with 12–15+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, including proven experience building FP&A functions. Private equity and/or public company experience is preferred, as is strong leadership and team-building experience, the ability to influence senior executives, and deep expertise in financial modeling and forecasting. The role also requires excellent communication skills, experience supporting board-level reporting, advanced modeling and data skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
