The Director of Finance at UVic Properties is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company and providing strategic financial analysis to the President and CEO. This includes developing and executing financial policy for managed real estate properties, as well as creating annual capital and operating budgets in alignment with operational business plans. The Director plays a critical role in driving transformation through accurate financial analysis and implementing financial controls to ensure budgets and targets are met while monitoring risk and compliance.Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Director of Finance at UVic Properties is a key member of the Leadership Team and provides sound financial advice to enable informed decision-making. The Director is responsible for developing and executing financial policy for all managed real estate properties, as well as developing annual budgets in consultation with the Leadership Team. In addition, the Director implements appropriate financial controls, standards, policies, and measures to ensure budgets and targets are met while monitoring risk and compliance to support operational business plans, goals, and targets.
