The client is seeking a Director of Finance to serve as the senior financial leader across the Americas region. In this role, you will partner closely with the U.S. CEO and maintain a functional reporting line to global finance leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to the executive team. You will take full responsibility for overseeing the North American finance function and managing a team of approximately eight professionals.
Key responsibilities include evolving and overseeing the regional finance organization to improve efficiency, accountability, and alignment; providing insight, guidance, and constructive challenge on key business decisions; and leading financial planning activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across manufacturing, commercial, and service operations. You will also enhance the visibility and quality of financial and operational KPIs to support data-driven decision-making, drive cost optimization and margin expansion initiatives, and ensure strong financial governance, controls, and compliance aligned with local and global requirements.
You will be the primary point of contact with the global finance team, delivering timely and accurate reporting, and supporting transformation efforts to foster a more forward-looking, analytics-driven finance culture. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, with a CPA being preferred, and typically 15+ years of manufacturing finance or accounting experience, including proven experience as a Finance Director or CFO. You should bring extensive experience supporting both operational and commercial functions, demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement and financial discipline, and experience operating within an international reporting structure.
