The client is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the organization’s finance function. This is a direct-hire, on-site leadership role focused on long-term stability and strong business partnership across the organization.
Responsibilities include leading financial planning and analysis, overseeing accounting, reporting, and compliance, and partnering with operations to improve profitability and working capital while enabling better decisions through actionable financial insights. The role will manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate reporting to leadership and key stakeholders, oversee cost accounting, inventory accounting, and product costing to strengthen margin reporting and operational visibility, and maintain relationships with external partners such as banks, auditors, and advisors while supporting risk management and internal controls.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a CPA and/or MBA preferred. They should bring 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with senior-level responsibility for a team, including strong manufacturing finance exposure such as cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis. Experience using ERP and other financial systems to improve reporting, controls, and process efficiency is expected, with ERP implementation experience a plus, along with strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate cross-functionally.
