Description

The client is seeking a Director of Enterprise Finance to lead a highly visible, build-and-shape leadership role that turns enterprise finance into a strategic engine for the business. The Director will architect and run a newly centralized function, partnering with executive leadership to connect day-to-day operations with long-term enterprise strategy across both an insurance carrier and MGA subsidiaries. This role will own end-to-end forecasting and modeling, guide decisions through scenario analysis and capital modeling, and provide financial support for M&A initiatives, while driving practical execution and measurable impact.

Key responsibilities include owning the annual planning process and multi-year forecasts across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow; developing and maintaining strategic models (including ROI, capital deployment, and stress testing); and leading scenario analysis and benchmarking to inform executive and Board decisions. The Director will also lead complex insurance-specific capital modeling and statutory-based proformas to ensure capital strategy aligns with enterprise risk, growth, and regulatory requirements. In addition, the role will define and track enterprise KPIs, oversee executive incentive reporting, produce ROI-driven analyses for key investments, and modernize reporting through AI-enabled tools and self-service capabilities.

The Director will partner with corporate strategy to support acquisitions and growth initiatives, including financial diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning, and will evaluate new opportunities aligned with long-term strategy. This position requires leading and developing a high-performing team and serving as a liaison across finance, strategy, accounting, and business units, delivering executive- and Board-ready insights and presentations. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and advanced financial modeling expertise with strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and insurance-specific reporting tools is expected. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CPA, or CFA, along with demonstrated experience leveraging AI or automation, managing complex financial models and multi-entity consolidations, and translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights; the role also expects strong understanding of statutory and GAAP accounting and experience leading change initiatives through cross-functional transformation.
