The client is partnering with executive leadership to fill a transformative leadership role overseeing Emergency and Behavioral Health Services within a dynamic healthcare organization. This position is designed for a visible, relationship-driven leader who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about strengthening culture, improving patient flow, engaging staff, and elevating operational performance.
The client will support a multi-year transformation effort for a combined Emergency Department and Behavioral Health unit with approximately 75,000 annual visits. Responsibilities include driving patient throughput, staff engagement, quality outcomes, and operational excellence; building, mentoring, and stabilizing nursing leadership teams; and partnering with physicians, nursing leaders, and hospital executives to advance performance and patient care.
qualified candidates are expected to be proven nurse leaders with at least 5+ years of Emergency Department leadership experience in a high-acuity, complex setting. The role calls for a leader who maintains frontline presence to build credibility, demonstrates success leading transformation and developing leaders, and drives measurable results; experience related to trauma, behavioral health, academic medicine, or unionized environments is a plus.
