The Director will report to the Senior Director of Philanthropy Strategy and work closely with the CEO and the philanthropy services team, all part of a broader national philanthropic strategy. Their efforts are aimed at maximizing the clients ability to generate funds and impact through philanthropy.
Strategically, the role involves developing a multi-year fundraising strategy that targets individuals, foundations, and corporations, with an emphasis on quickly establishing a robust development program. This includes advising the senior leadership team on fundraising trends and donor insights to refine strategies and resource planning. Managing donor relations involves constructing and administering new donor portfolios, overseeing the entire spectrum of donor engagement activities from identification to stewardship, and demonstrating expertise in complex giving mechanisms such as donor-advised funds and appreciated stocks.
