The MacArthur Justice Center (MJC) is a prominent organization dedicated to advancing law enforcement reform through litigation and advocacy. With a staff of 56 members, an $11 million annual budget, and offices in five cities, MJC is deeply rooted in its communities while also making a national impact. In response to the need for enhanced capabilities and impact, our client is establishing its first-ever development function with a goal to grow annual contributed revenues to $5 million or more within three years.The Director of Development will work closely with the newly elected Executive Director to build MJC's development capability from the ground up. This individual will have the opportunity to create infrastructure, processes, and policies while collaborating with the Director of Communications to ensure integrated messaging and communications strategies. As the development function matures, the Director will take on a more prominent role in engaging with donors, leveraging the leadership and fundraising skills of the Executive Director to drive success for MJC during this promising time.
