Our client, a rapidly expanding international logistics company headquartered in Central London, is seeking a Finance Business Partner. Known for its collaborative and fast-paced work culture, our client aims to find a driven and commercially minded individual for this hybrid role that combines remote work with office-based collaboration.
The Finance Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to operational and commercial teams, offering financial insight to influence decisions. Key responsibilities include leading monthly performance reviews, developing business cases, supporting pricing strategies, and offering data-backed recommendations for commercial negotiations.
The role also focuses on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), where the partner will lead monthly forecasting processes, contribute to the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts, and provide variance analysis. The objective is to align financial plans with operational goals while explaining financial performance and key drivers.
The Finance Business Partner will also develop and maintain dynamic models to support forecasting and decision-making. Producing internal reporting packs with clear visualization and concise commentary is another essential function, along with tracking key performance indicators, identifying trends, and supporting the development of automated dashboards for better financial visibility.
To enhance the efficiency of financial processes, the Finance Business Partner will collaborate with IT and finance systems teams to improve reporting tools and data flows. This includes identifying opportunities for process automation and supporting the ongoing evolution of finance systems and models to meet the growing needs of the business. The ideal candidate should be a fully qualified accountant with proven experience in a commercially focused finance role, particularly within logistics, supply chain, or related industries. Strong business partnering skills and the ability to challenge and influence non-financial stakeholders are crucial for success in this role.
