Reporting to the client’s director and a member of the executive leadership team, the role will help ensure the museum’s artistic program advances the institution’s mission, strengthens public and scholarly impact, and aligns with the organization’s strategic plan.
The Director of Curatorial Affairs will serve as a strategic and creative partner, shaping the museum’s artistic vision and overseeing a sustainable, ambitious long-range exhibition calendar. The role also includes driving the curatorial and publications program, developing and managing complex projects, partnerships, and commissions from conception through execution, and bringing a balance of creative sensibility and practical logistical and financial acumen.
