Description

The client is seeking a Director of Corporate Partnerships and Events who will develop, manage, and grow corporate partnerships and fundraising events to advance the organization’s mission and contributed revenue goals. Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with Advancement staff, this role leads strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners and oversees the planning and execution of signature fundraising events, including the annual Gala, and other major fundraising activities.

The Director will build meaningful relationships with corporate supporters, develop compelling partnership opportunities, and ensure a high-quality experience for sponsors, donors, guests, and community partners. Responsibilities include collaborating with advancement leadership to create corporate partnership and event fundraising strategies aligned with organizational priorities, managing a portfolio of corporate prospects through research, outreach, relationship development, proposal creation, solicitation, and stewardship, and developing sponsorship packages and customized partnership opportunities. This position also manages the full lifecycle of corporate partnerships, including agreements, benefit fulfillment, recognition, renewal, and ongoing stewardship.

The role involves partnering across the organization to connect sponsorship opportunities to programs and events, serving as the primary liaison for corporate sponsors to ensure effective communication and benefit fulfillment, and establishing systems to support corporate relationship management and sponsorship tracking and reporting. The Director will plan, coordinate, and execute signature fundraising events by managing timelines, communications, logistics, vendor relationships, and event execution, and will work with leadership, board members, committees, volunteers, and event chairs to achieve fundraising outcomes. Supervisory responsibilities may include overseeing volunteers, interns, and event support staff as assigned.
