The role will involve advancing complex opportunities from first conversation through investment approval and execution, with judgment around how power availability, interconnection, land positioning, and development readiness affect data center viability.
The client is looking for a commercially aggressive, strategically sharp, and financially astute leader with deep experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, power, or large-scale energy development. The ideal candidate will know how to originate opportunities through relationships, open doors with developers, infrastructure companies, landowners, utilities, and capital partners, and evaluate and structure deals that can move forward to approval and execution. The director is expected to shape corporate development strategy for large-scale projects and influence the growth of an emerging national platform.
