The RCA is looking for a Director of Consultancy and Commercial Services to lead the development and expansion of the Colleges consultancy, executive education, and other commercial activities. This role will support our client's goal of diversifying income and extending its global impact in creative education, design, and innovation. Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), the Director will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the Consultancy & Commercial Services Unit and building a sustainable pipeline of opportunities both in the UK and internationally. Collaboration with academic and professional services colleagues will be essential to identify and develop consultancy and executive education opportunities, ensuring projects are effectively managed and deliver strong financial and reputational returns.The successful candidate will need to have experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies, as well as a track record of successfully delivering consultancy and executive education projects. Strong leadership and communication skills will be crucial in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive the growth of the consultancy and commercial services unit. The Director will also need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the creative education sector and be able to leverage our client's expertise to create impactful and sustainable commercial opportunities.
