The role involves regular collaboration with owners and representatives, contractors, engineers, and architects, and includes defining, documenting, and communicating project requirements to enable accurate and efficient commissioning execution. This is a full-time onsite position in Tempe, AZ.

The Commissioning Director will lead teams to mentor and develop commissioning professionals, set performance standards, and conduct evaluations. Key responsibilities include managing and distributing incoming project information to commissioning agents and technicians, implementing structured processes for status tracking and reporting to clients and stakeholders, and ensuring team communications are fully documented. Certifications such as those related to commissioning and energy or building performance may be expected, as well as proficiency with cloud-based commissioning software; preferred qualifications include engineering licensure or intern certification and additional leadership experience, and travel of approximately 25%–40% is expected.
