Description

The client is seeking a Director of Commercial Transformation to help shape and execute the next phase of its commercial growth strategy following significant investment and organisational transformation. This highly visible, newly created role will operate at the centre of the executive leadership team, driving strategic initiatives from concept through delivery and influencing how the business operates globally.

In this role, you will partner with the Divisional Managing Director to translate strategic priorities into executable transformation programmes with measurable commercial outcomes. You will design governance frameworks, operating rhythms, and executive reporting to improve accountability, decision-making, and delivery; drive initiatives across go-to-market strategy, commercial operating model, sales effectiveness, and cross-functional execution; and simplify commercial processes to strengthen commercialisation and go-to-market performance.

You will lead strategic planning workshops, facilitate senior leadership alignment, and ensure priorities are converted into clear execution plans and integrated business performance management. You will also develop executive-level business cases, board-ready materials, performance dashboards, and KPIs; support growth through market analysis, competitive assessment, and portfolio evaluation; and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership through challenge, insight, and independent thinking. The role suits someone with experience in commercial transformation, strategy consulting, or corporate strategy, with a strong executive presence, facilitation skills, and a structured, analytical approach to delivering complex cross-functional transformation in fast-moving B2B technology or software environments.
