The client is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to serve as the Director of Clinical Programs, committed to experiential learning and the public good. This role will expand the breadth and impact of clinical offerings, strengthen public service and experiential learning, and elevate the clinics’ role within the client and the broader community.
The Director will oversee a robust set of clinical programs where students gain hands-on experience serving real clients, addressing unmet legal needs, and developing practical skills under faculty mentorship. Clinic areas include appellate advocacy, community law, domestic violence, immigration, innocence projects, veterans’ benefits, special education, and elder and disability law. The clinics are expected to support meaningful pro bono and community engagement through substantial annual service.
Reporting to the Vice Dean and overseeing eight clinics, the Director will shape the future of clinical education and may have opportunities to innovate and develop new clinic capacity. The successful candidate will be an accomplished legal educator with substantial experience in program development and administrative leadership, providing strategic vision to drive academic excellence, collaboration among clinic directors, and innovation that advances real-world impact for students and the community.
