A client seeking to accelerate growth is recruiting a Director of Business Development. In this role, you will serve as a key driver of expansion by identifying, structuring, and developing new business levers to support company objectives and market growth.

Your responsibilities will include developing and executing commercial development strategies aligned with the company’s goals; identifying and pursuing new market opportunities; building and managing strategic partnerships; overseeing sales teams to achieve sales targets; and contributing to the evolution of offerings and business models. You will also analyze market trends to anticipate customer needs and adjust strategies accordingly, while collaborating with other departments to ensure a coherent and competitive offering.

The ideal candidate will have higher education in business, management, or a related field and significant experience in business development, typically within the consumer goods sector. You should be results-oriented with a strong ability to meet or exceed targets, with solid communication and negotiation skills, demonstrated capability to lead teams, and experience working collaboratively across operational leadership. Proficiency with commercial management tools and a strong command of English are also expected; you will be expected to work effectively with teams and functional partners to drive growth.
