The client seeks a strategic, collaborative, and empathetic leader to serve as its Director of Benefits. Reporting to the Vice President for Human Resources, the Director will work closely with leadership to support employees, retirees, and their dependents through competitive, cost-effective benefits and work-life programs aligned with the organization’s short- and long-term goals.
The Director of Benefits is responsible for the design, pricing, communication, administration, and compliance of a complex set of retirement, health and welfare, and work-life programs. This role will help ensure programs respond to changing needs across a large and diverse community, and that benefits offerings support organizational mission and workforce well-being.
The Director will lead a team of approximately 25 staff, including direct reports and a client service function, and will oversee onsite childcare center operations. The role also involves managing significant vendor relationships and contracts, and it requires strong leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and expertise in benefits administration and regulatory compliance.
