The Director of Audit Quality Review will play a key role in overseeing our client's audit inspection and supervision program to support high audit quality and market resilience. They will work closely with the Executive Director of Supervision and other Directors to provide proactive oversight of major audit firms, assess audit quality, identify risks to market resilience, and hold firms accountable for their performance. This individual will lead the annual inspections of public interest entity audits, ensuring rigorous selection criteria, consistent quality standards, and thorough reporting to the Board.In addition to overseeing the audit inspection program, the Director of Audit Quality Review will be responsible for determining necessary actions to address audit quality issues and ensure firms are meeting regulatory standards. They will be a central figure in promoting a culture of continuous improvement in audit quality and market resilience, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive positive change. The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit quality assurance, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, with the ability to provide strategic leadership and guidance in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
