The client is hiring a Director, AI Engineering to establish and scale its enterprise AI capability. The role will define and execute enterprise AI strategy and architecture, build production-ready AI platforms and services, and embed AI into core business workflows. You will deliver high-impact AI solutions, including predictive models, generative AI, and automation.
Key responsibilities include developing and scaling AI platforms, services, and supporting infrastructure; partnering with business, product, and technology teams to drive adoption; and translating business needs into technical solutions. You will also lead and grow a high-performing AI engineering team, ensuring delivery of scalable, real-world applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth and leadership experience, with a background in software, data, or AI/ML engineering and experience building and scaling AI or advanced analytics systems. You should have strong knowledge of modern AI architecture across deployment, orchestration, and monitoring, and experience delivering AI in enterprise or regulated environments may be preferred. You will also be expected to establish best practices for MLOps, governance, and lifecycle management, while ensuring solutions meet security, compliance, and ethical standards.
