The client is seeking a Director of AECO Sales to drive new business growth across architecture, engineering, construction, and real estate organizations. This is a senior, quota-carrying role focused on developing and closing strategic opportunities with large firms and enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will combine industry credibility with consultative enterprise selling to build executive relationships, navigate complex buying groups, and establish long-term customer partnerships.
Key responsibilities include owning and delivering against new business revenue targets across strategic AEC and real estate accounts, and building and managing a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound opportunities, referrals, and account-based selling. The role will manage the full enterprise sales cycle from discovery and qualification through demonstration, negotiation, and close, while developing strategic account plans and cultivating relationships across executive, technical, operational, and project-level stakeholders. Responsibilities also include consultative discovery to understand customer workflows and objectives, translating product capabilities into clear business outcomes and value propositions, delivering tailored presentations and proposals, identifying expansion opportunities across teams and portfolios, and partnering with Customer Success and internal teams to support successful implementation, adoption, and long-term account growth.
The candidate will have 5+ years of successful quota-carrying B2B technology or SaaS sales experience with a consistent record of achieving or exceeding targets, along with direct experience selling to enterprise customers in the AEC ecosystem (such as architecture firms, engineering organizations, and real estate owners or developers). Additional requirements include strong understanding of relevant industry workflows, proven success managing complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple technical and executive stakeholders, strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills, credibility with senior executives and technical/operational buyers, and the ability to manage pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activities with discipline in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
