the client is seeking an experienced Director, Nuclear Customer Program Manager to lead critical manufacturing programs in highly regulated environments. This role supports strategic customer relationships, operational excellence, and complex project execution. The position will drive results across customer-facing program delivery and will coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful outcomes in regulated manufacturing.
The client expects progressive leadership experience across program management, customer program management, project management, operations leadership, and account management, typically supported by a track record managing large-scale customer programs. The director will oversee multiple high-value customer contracts and complex purchase order activity, lead customer-facing program execution, and manage risk and issue resolution. A strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning and scheduling, engineering and quality requirements, supply chain dependencies, and stakeholder management is essential.
Preferred qualifications include nuclear industry experience and familiarity with ASME Section III, NQA-1, and 10 CFR 50 Appendix BB. A relevant bachelor’s degree may include engineering, business administration, operations management, manufacturing, or project management or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in regulated manufacturing settings and may be expected to champion continuous operational improvement while maintaining disciplined program performance.
