This Director-level role is within a sector coverage team focused on Media & Technology, working with large corporate clients, including FTSE-listed businesses, global multinationals, and sponsor-backed companies. The position manages relationships with companies across a range of scale, typically including organizations with significant turnover, and will help shape and execute sector strategy as the platform strengthens its Media & Technology coverage.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing strategic client relationships and delivering a full range of corporate banking solutions, such as lending, liquidity, and risk management products. The role also involves identifying and executing revenue opportunities across Investment Grade, Leveraged Finance, and Infrastructure transactions, providing sector insight and thought leadership, coordinating internal deal execution with product specialists and relevant credit, risk, and execution stakeholders, and originating new business opportunities while contributing to broader sector growth initiatives.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in corporate banking or relationship management with exposure to large-cap clients in the UK, along with strong credit and financial analysis capability for structuring and executing transactions. They should have a deep understanding of the Media & Technology sector, proven relationship-building skills that deliver commercial outcomes, strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to influence at senior levels, experience leading or mentoring colleagues, and a solid understanding of governance and regulatory frameworks in corporate banking.
