Lead the future of learning in a significant senior leadership role as Director of the Learning Futures Lab for the client. The position sits at the centre of organisational and educational change, operating at the intersection of technology, pedagogy, academic development, and student success. The Lab’s mandate is to translate expertise into practical support for schools and measurable improvements across teaching, learning, assessment, digital capability, and student outcomes.
The Director will take forward the evolution of the Learning Futures Lab, building on the strengths of the existing team while bringing a fresh perspective on how the Lab supports colleagues, shapes practice, and helps the client respond to the pace of change in learning and teaching. The role will harness a multidisciplinary community of experts across digital education, learning design and multimedia, staff and student educational development, operations, and projects, ensuring this expertise is translated into stronger engagement with schools and tangible institutional impact.
The successful candidate will bring strategic judgement, pragmatism, and a strong implementation mindset, with the ability to lead expert teams, build trust with academic colleagues, and deliver educational ambition. They are expected to support the client’s education strategy, improve how the Lab works with the wider institution, and ensure expertise is reflected in outcomes such as student experience, teaching quality, and external measures of performance.
