The client is seeking a Director to oversee all aspects of campus operations and to serve as the primary representative to university leadership and local, regional, statewide, and national partners. The Director will report directly to the university chancellor and work closely with the provost, vice chancellors, deans, and system leaders to provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight aligned with the university’s mission and priorities.
The Director is expected to advance the university’s strategic plans, foster innovation and academic excellence, and serve as the primary budget authority for the college. As an essential community campus, the role will champion accessible education, workforce development, and community partnership by cultivating relationships with industry, government, tribal organizations, school districts, and community partners. The Director will also support faculty and staff in delivering high-quality academic and career-focused programs that reflect evolving local needs while advancing university-wide goals.
The successful candidate will be an effective, empathetic communicator who can engage diverse audiences, build trust across cultures and sectors, and lead collaboratively in a mission-driven campus environment. The role will involve anticipating challenges, setting clear goals, and executing thoughtful, well-aligned plans while balancing shared governance with timely decision-making. Required qualifications include a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and three to five years of administrative leadership experience, including program planning, budget management, and personnel development and management; a doctorate (or equivalent terminal degree) and additional higher education administrative leadership experience are preferred.
