The client is seeking a Director to lead its investment portfolio and business analysis related to new business opportunities. This is a hands-on strategic leadership role, expected to oversee investment matters and guide decision-making by analyzing business opportunities and supporting investment strategy development.
Key responsibilities include supporting investment-related activities across the company, leading asset allocation strategy, and coordinating with brokerage firms and external advisors. The role will review portfolio performance and advise on tax efficiency, serve as a liaison to external advisors executing directed strategies, and participate in meetings with legal, trustee, tax, and financial advisory stakeholders to inform and guide investment strategies. The Director will also provide advisory support to analyze business opportunities, evaluate potential acquisitions and new venture opportunities, and assess return on investment.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with professional credentials such as CPA and/or CFP, and an MBA or JD desired. Investment licenses may be advantageous. The role typically requires at least seven years of related experience, strong business acumen, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate strong analytical and strategic skills, along with a record of integrity and ethical standards and full bilingual capability.
