Our client is seeking a research leader to head the Institute for Chronic Disease Research (ICDR), the first of its kind in New Zealand. The main goal of the ICDR is to reduce the economic and societal burden of chronic disease through research focused on prevention, management, and cure. The institute will conduct cutting-edge transdisciplinary research that aims to improve the lives of all New Zealanders.As the leader of the ICDR, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of research projects, as well as building collaborations with other research institutions and industry partners. They will also be expected to secure funding for research initiatives and mentor junior researchers within the institute.
