Description

the client is seeking a Director of Influencer Marketing to lead strategic creator, influencer, and celebrity programs for technology and corporate brands. The role focuses on translating complex products and corporate narratives into compelling, creator-led storytelling that builds credibility, authority, and cultural relevance, supporting business outcomes such as brand perception, product adoption, pipeline acceleration, and executive visibility. This position blends big-picture influence strategy with hands-on execution across the full customer and marketing journey.

the client will architect integrated programs aligned to complex marketing funnels, spanning thought leadership, brand positioning, product launches, demand generation, and customer advocacy. The director will develop influencer strategies that combine organic and paid approaches to maximize reach and optimize performance, overseeing influencer identification, casting, vetting, negotiation, contracting, and content management. The role includes translating specialized subject matter into engaging content that moves key metrics including engagement, lead generation, and conversion.

the director will collaborate across PR, digital, content, paid media, and executive communications to ensure influencer activity supports broader corporate and product narratives, connecting online engagement to real-world impact through events, product demos, conferences, community building, and sales enablement efforts. The role is hybrid and based in the client’s New York, N.Y. office, with staff working in office three days per week, and it requires staying current on emerging platforms, creator business models, and evolving digital behaviors. Essential qualifications include 5–7+ years of relevant experience in influencer marketing, social media, PR, or integrated communications, with demonstrated success in developing and executing creator and communications programs that drive measurable business results for technology, corporate, hardware, software, and/or B2B brands.
