The client seeks a senior leader to manage end-to-end economic and financial operations across the areas under their responsibility. The role ensures the quality and reliability of financial information, supports effective management control, and helps ensure compliance with the company’s economic-financial obligations. In addition, the position is expected to drive continuous improvement and evolution of management processes, systems, and models by providing analysis and a global perspective to enable better decision-making.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and supervising the relevant business areas to maintain an integrated view of economic-financial management, ensuring consistency of information and financial criteria across teams, and analyzing economic-financial performance while preparing relevant insights for decision-making. The role also supports the definition, monitoring, and improvement of management processes and systems, identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize processes, and coordinates cross-functional projects related to economic-financial management.
The successful candidate will be expected to ensure appropriate fulfillment of applicable obligations and policies within their scope and to lead and develop teams, fostering autonomy and specialization among area leads. Residency in Aragón during working days is expected, along with demonstrated experience as a director in economic-financial management or as a company financial director, typically within a multi-entity group structure. English fluency is valued, and reporting will be directly to the financial director.
