Description

In this highly commercial Director role within a finance-focused Center of Excellence (“Finance CoE”), you will shape, deliver, and grow finance deal advisory propositions. The position combines senior leadership, business development, and deal execution, including leading complex, high-pressure, multi-workstream engagements. You will work directly with CFOs and finance leadership teams across both buy-side and sell-side transaction environments, designing, planning, and executing finance workstreams within deals.

You will be accountable for leading engagement teams, serving as a trusted advisor, and ensuring deliverables, quality, and commercial success. Responsibilities include end-to-end finance support across the deal lifecycle, advising senior finance stakeholders with challenge and practical direction, and coordinating multi-workstream delivery teams (often across multiple geographies) to drive coordination, quality assurance, and value. You will also lead and review separation/integration planning, operating model design, and deal-driven finance change outcomes, while building strong client relationships and coordinating with other advisory participants involved in transactions (such as legal, banking, and technology functions).

People leadership is a key component: you will coach and develop senior managers and other team members, foster a high-performing team culture, and drive capability development across deal execution and finance operations. The role is expected to support inclusion, agility, and personal development through team values and learning commitments. The successful applicant will bring substantial experience in leading consulting, Big 4, private equity, or strategy/corporate development with a focus on the finance function, typically with both consulting and operational line-management experience; experience leading mid-sized to large deal execution projects centered on CFO-relevant issues; strong business development ability with C-level stakeholders; proven team leadership in fast-paced, ambiguous deal environments; and strong analytical, structured thinking, and commercial acumen to generate opportunities and deliver practical recommendations.
