The client is seeking a Director to lead and grow its Singapore office, shaping sustainable business practices across APAC. This role will drive and execute regional go-to-market strategies, oversee the full project pipeline, and identify and convert opportunities across priority sectors. The Director will focus on achieving strong delivery outcomes while building and deepening relationships with existing member organizations and prospective partners.
Key responsibilities include clearly communicating the client’s value proposition, supporting regional events and webinars to strengthen visibility and engagement, and developing partnerships with ecosystem stakeholders such as industry associations, investors, NGOs, and academic institutions. The Director will forecast revenue and manage a portfolio P&L, ensuring healthy margins and efficient team utilization. The role also involves scoping and supporting delivery of advisory projects aligned with sustainability themes, including human rights, climate and nature, responsible technology, business transformation, and supply chain.
The successful candidate will represent the client at regional forums and contribute thought-leadership content aligned with strategic priorities. They will lead multidisciplinary teams across local and global offices to deliver high-quality work, and will hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing local team. The role typically requires at least 10 years of experience in corporate sustainability and/or consulting, a proven track record in business development through complex multi-stakeholder engagements, and experience scaling a business line, office, or region, along with a bachelor’s degree (an advanced degree is preferred).
