The Director, Corporate Services provides strategic leadership and oversight for a broad portfolio of corporate and support services essential to effective and efficient operations and the achievement of Council’s strategic priorities. In accordance with Section 149 of the Community Charter, the role also serves as the Financial Officer, with responsibility for control and oversight of the municipality’s financial affairs.
A key focus of the position is coordinated leadership across diverse functions that provide critical services and expertise throughout the organization. The Director will navigate competing priorities, balance departmental needs and resources, and ensure services are responsive, well integrated, and delivered in a financially sustainable manner, while working within established fiscal parameters.
