Our client, The City of Boroondara, is looking for a Director Community Services to oversee a diverse portfolio of social and community services that promote equity, connectedness, and inclusion. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is part of a high-performing executive team that values collaboration and upholds the highest standards of governance. The Director Community Services will play a key role in advancing organizational priorities and driving strategic initiatives.The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership to four community-facing teams, including Arts, Culture and Economic Development, Community Development, Health and Wellbeing Services, and Library Services. Managing a workforce of over 300 staff, the Director will ensure that services are integrated, accessible, and focused on delivering a seamless and positive experience for customers. This position is crucial in championing enterprise-wide initiatives and ensuring that community services are aligned with the organization's values and goals.
