The Director Community Life position at our client is a key leadership role overseeing multiple departments and initiatives aimed at enhancing community engagement and service delivery. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director will be responsible for leading service review projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other transformation activities to meet community and stakeholder expectations. With a workforce of over 230 staff, the role includes managing a diverse range of services such as leisure and aquatic activities, early childhood services, positive aging, community wellbeing, maternal and child health, arts, events, and libraries.The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary teams and driving impactful outcomes. They will have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as experience in managing complex service delivery programs.
