The Commercial Director for the client, a renowned luxury company, plays a strategic and pivotal role in the growth and development of the client. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position involves consolidating and advancing the Commercial area, leveraging extensive experience in the luxury sector.

The director is tasked with driving commercial growth for a portfolio of luxury brands and enhancing the commercial strategy in Spain. The role includes ensuring sales targets are met through securing commercial agreements, attracting new clients, and optimizing current commercial relationships by leading the sales network.

An essential part of the job is to define the annual commercial strategy in line with corporate and brand objectives, identify growth opportunities, discover new brands and channels, and optimize the portfolio while also promoting expansion in specialized distribution channels. Analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive movements is vital for anticipating future needs.

The role involves strategic management of client relationships and key accounts, negotiating commercial agreements, spaces, financial terms, visibility, and trade marketing initiatives. The director is responsible for overseeing the execution of commercial plans at the point of sale, ensuring KPI compliance.

They will also lead the national commercial team and Key Account Managers, setting clear commercial goals and closely monitoring performance. Coordination with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Training departments is crucial for seamless operation.

Additionally, the director is responsible for crafting and overseeing the commercial budget, managing margins and profitability for each brand, and coordinating forecasting, demand planning, and sell-in budgets to ensure commercial decisions optimize the P&L and sustainable growth.

The position also entails supervising trade marketing strategies in collaboration with the Marketing department, ensuring consistency between international brand directives and local execution. This includes optimizing visibility strategies, testers, graphic materials, and merchandising.

The successful applicant for this role has 8-10 years of experience in commercial roles within the luxury sector, with recent positions in sales management or commercial director roles, and demonstrable experience working with leading brands. They must have a strong track record in negotiating with major accounts and chains, leading multidisciplinary teams, and possess high-level English proficiency.
