The client is seeking a Boca Raton and Palm Beach County Director responsible for cultivating relationships and increasing financial commitments from existing donors in a defined mid-range giving bracket, while also inspiring new community members to become significant financial supporters. The role focuses on sales, client relations, and fundraising performance, with a successful director bringing a proven track record of exceeding goals in a related field.
In addition to revenue growth, the Director will help build a strong grassroots movement centered on advocacy and voting. Supported by a broader state and national community engagement effort, the Director will engage community members in advocacy activities such as action alerts, voting, events, and other initiatives, and will represent the client at community events and forums.
Key responsibilities include creating and executing a plan to grow community engagement and revenue through donor solicitations, cultivation, and stewardship; identifying, cultivating, and soliciting new donors; meeting quarterly and annual fundraising goals; recruiting and developing volunteer/lay leadership for leadership roles; and providing updates that encourage involvement in policy and advocacy work. The Director will also maintain accurate donor and engagement records in a CRM system, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and bring at least five years of experience in sales, fundraising, or a related area, along with adaptability, self-motivation, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Community connections and a commitment to Jewish education and advocacy are expected, with a bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
