The client is seeking an Associate Director/Manager/Sr Manager/Director for Advertising and Promotion. In this role, you will provide strategic regulatory support to help review advertising and promotional materials in alignment with US brand team objectives while ensuring appropriate regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include conducting regulatory reviews of internal and external communications, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives in New York. You will also engage with external stakeholders to improve the regulatory environment, mentor newer staff across disciplines and review committees, and collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization, escalating issues to senior management when needed.
The role requires demonstrated experience delivering regulatory work within a complex matrix environment, along with strong communication and negotiation skills. You should have relevant education (with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a preference for scientific disciplines) and substantial regulatory experience, including subject matter expertise in advertising and promotion, with the ability to interpret and apply evolving guidance. Additional strengths include developing independent strategies, identifying emerging issues and recommending solutions in ambiguous scenarios, and being willing to travel occasionally to major medical meetings and conventions for monitoring and auditing promotional activities.
