Description

the client is seeking an experienced medical professional to serve as the Inaugural Medical Director of its Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program. In this pivotal role, you will partner with hospital and cancer center leadership to develop, establish, and lead the program, helping set the highest standards for patient care, clinical innovation, research, and collaboration. The Medical Director will work closely with the SCTCT program Senior Nursing Director to ensure integrated medical and nursing leadership.

Key responsibilities include leading strategic program development by establishing protocols, guidelines, and standards of care, and collaborating to design and implement appropriate infrastructure and facilities to support transplant and cellular procedures. You will provide expert clinical oversight and consultation for bone marrow transplant patients and those eligible for cellular therapy, develop and implement treatment plans, and work with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cases. You will also lead and participate in clinical research related to bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy, contribute to advancement of transplant techniques and novel therapies, and help establish collaborations to support clinical trials and innovative research initiatives.
