The client is a mission-driven philanthropy advising firm focused on driving systems change and real-world impact. The Director, People & Culture is a member of the leadership team and is responsible for translating people commitments into tangible, measurable practices. The role prioritizes creating a culture where team members feel valued, connected, and supported to thrive, while serving as a trusted thought partner on people-related issues.

Key responsibilities include owning and advancing the organization’s DEIB strategy so it is embedded in organizational practices, measured over time, and continuously improved. The director will model core values and DEIB commitments across people practices, maintain awareness of team member experiences, and help teams navigate periods of growth and change through calm, clear communication and a solutions-oriented approach.
